Job title: Credit Controller

Based at: Cheltenham Racecourse

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our team at the Finance Centre at Cheltenham Racecourse. This role will maintain & reduce debt for Jockey Club Racecourses & Jockey Club Services

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all overdue debt has been actioned on a daily basis Ensure our dunning cycle is performed on a daily basis Produce and issue monthly statements Maintaining individual follow up on a daily basis Produce and send daily Credit Control letters Proactively chase outstanding debt by phone/email Review payment terms for new clients if required Be familiar with Jockey Club Racecourses and Jockey Club Services terms and conditions Assist in development of credit control system & regular reporting Liaise with relevant personnel regarding outstanding debt & any non-payment issues Be familiar with internal audit procedures and comply as necessary

The successful candidate will;

• Have a working knowledge of all aspects of credit control functions Be a confident communicator Be self-motivated with a flexible approach to work Work proactively with excellent attention to detail 

The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends to support racing when necessary.
